Retired Doll? Let's fix that! Sort of...

Have you ever wanted a certain doll, but they were retired? eBay usually has them, but their prices can be astronomical! American Girl usually releases a similar doll under the Truly Me line, but they aren't the same. I really want Lindsey, Girl of the Year 2001-2002, but since she didn't sell very well, she can be hard to find and usually has grey/green/pale tint to her skin. Last year, AG released the One of a Kind doll thing, and I made a doll similar to Lindsey and attempted to recreate her meet. I am having issues getting the picture up, so I'll do it later. If you want Saige, #23 is great, and #46 and Gabriela are the same doll. Luciana and #66 are very similar to each other, but Luciana has side bangs and a purple streak sewn into her wig cap. Luci and Gabby are still sold today, but I'm not sure how long they'll be around because Luciana is selling very well, being the Space Camp - spacey girl. Gabriela was rumored to be the "last GotY" but Luciana's here, and she's a GotY. Several dolls have a Truly Me equivalent, but certain TM's are no longer available through AG.
