AG Face Molds

Hey guys! Today we will be talking about American Girl face molds. First off I would like to say I only have 1 doll (Truly Me # 23, or Skylar) whom uses the Classic mold, although I have seen many face molds, as my neighbors have a few dolls. If a mold has a * by it, it means I have seen it in person, so I can give more Info about it.

#1 Classic mold as seen on MAG #23 has a upturned nose and a small mouth and wider cheeks.

#2 Josefina mold on Josefina has a thinner overall face and "W" lips and pointed chin

#3 Asian mold on JLY #4 is a unique mold, retired in 2009

 #5 Kaya on Logan Everett (sorry! I couldn't find a better pic) doesn't have teeth due to some cultural issue with the Nez Perce tribe.

* on Kaya
#5 Marie-Grace also has a pointed chin and slimmer face, as with Josefina's mold.

#6 Addy Mold on Addy is the widest of the molds, and has never been used on a Caucasian doll, outside of the Create-Your-Own line.

#7 Sonali mold on Gabriela McBride has flat ears, unlike the detailed ears on the other molds and is sort of a mixture of Josefina and Addy.

So that's all of the molds for American Girl, Which is your favorite? I have 2, Marie-Grace, and Asian. Do you have any dolls?
Resources from American Girl Wiki.   'til Next Time!   - JCole Note: JLY, MAG, and TM are different names for the modern line, more info on that soon
**UPDATE - when I originally posted this, I forgot the Jess - Ivy mold!**
  The Jess mold (as seen on Jess) is similar to the Asian mold, but has a nose similar to the Classic.
 When Ivy was released, American Girl used the Jess mold, but tweaked the eye sockets, adding more depth and realism to the mold. AG also painted those sections, making the mold look more realistic. Other than the eye tweaks made to Ivy, the mold is exactly the same. I personally prefer Jess, as I think dolls with the Ivy edit look weird when their eyes are closed, but I really like Z.
